The
Association acquired as extended loans the tower and the adjacent
building on the northern side of it, in order to restore them and
guarantee their public use. Cultural and educational activities will be
allocated in these buildings i.e. a museum concerning the history of
Capiate where people will be able to see the archaeological evidences
brought to light.
The
tower is the result of different parts built in various historical
periods. Its structural heterogeneity caused static problems denoted by
deep and large cracks in the walls and vaults. So, it is necessary
reinstating safety conditions of the building through the static
consolidation of its structures.
The
static analysis has already begun. It has to be completed in order to
prepare the project for structural consolidation, with the cost of all
the needed actions.
